THINGS CANT GET WORSE??SAID WHO?
okay so here is why you really dont want to know how my day went...
today is the end of clinical posting exam in social medicine (translation: they torture us for a month in a dept and then like to test us to see if they did it effectively...)..
it was supposed to be on monday...but the only student who bothered to study decided to force the department (im still wondering what he used to blackmail them...)..to have it TODAY...
anyway my batch was supposed to go to the medicine ward and being so rainy god blessed us with many a malaria case...and i knew malaria pretty well..
so all i did for the last one week..DESPITE THE NAGGING THING AT THE BACK OF MY MIND...WHICH SAID..."YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT GYNAEC ....GOO TIME TO READ UP!!"..i still continued with medicine...
ohh i should tell you.....Nothing against cute babies (as long as they dont puke/pee/poop/any other form of bodily fluid ejection... on me...) or their moms (except for the crazy hormones) but I HATE GYNAECOLOGY...OBSTETRICS AND PAEDIATRICS (THAT DOES NOT INVOLVE ME BECOMING FRIENDS WITH THE KIDS WHICH I AM GOOD AT...)
so obviously i havent spent days in class or nights at home...bothering about any of these subjects....
the day started a bad day ...and as u have read before...bad mornings lead to good days...THE EXCEPTION BEING TODAY...
no bus+ rain--> rain but inside bus and bus not moving-> rains when you get out of the bus...run to class ...no teachers there.....and then slowly ......but VERY VERY EFFECTIVELY...the bomb - YOU HAVE TO TAKE A OB/GYN CASE!!!!!!..
i couldnt have pitied the patients more...and the examiner...wait what do i even ask tbe mother...
great so i knew what to ask...but i didnt have anyone to ask...NO CASE IN THE WARD!! hence i was thrust upon an innocent mother and her newborn child....god save them...no actually the woman was kinda nice and was smiling when i was making faces at the intern...:P
everyone who had the tough teachers started early...passed...and left....and mine who is rumoured to be the nicest ones...decided to wait till around 1 and then call us downstairs and take our viva in groups...ahh yes he did make life easy for the 4 roll numbers before me and the one number after...but me ...IT HAD TO BE ME WHO COULD GET INTO A PROBLEMATIC VIVA EVEN WITH THE MOST LENIENT TEACHER!! best part: i didnt even say anything to get myself into it...so the guy with me gets like the simple one word answer stuff...and i get questions like what is the caesarean section rate all over the world...in this city...why do people opt for it...define rehab...polio...types of prevention..blablablabla...nobody i have mentioned this to even knows what this is about...and this was my viva after all those sleepless nights and hours of prep before the viva.
if you thought my day couldnt get worse ....you would be wrong....that again is an entirely different story...that is kinda in the present tense right now...maybe i should talk about it when its over...the question is ...WILL IT EVER!!
