Phosphorous new year it is...

Its a week since the "new year" began.A week since all the parties and the random people wishing you a "happie healthy wealthy and phosphorous " new year...
A week since you got those texts made out of asterisks ...wishing you a wonderful year ahead..
A week since that ecard was delivered to your email account which you are yet to check (call me old fashioned but I still miss the number of cards the postman used to deliver at this time of the year...the real ones..the ones you could touch...the ones that were signed...the ones that you could look at after 10 years and get nostalgic..and wouldn't expire after 45 days..)
Has anything changed?If you ever took a resolution did you live up to it?
Has all the health and phosphorousness taken its effect?Are the days happier?
I'm guessing not..coz the date ....doesn't change your fate ...unless you tried real hard or something ...
They say a new start...a fresh beginning is all you need.Well I did try.1week I tried.Tried to change my ways.My thoughts.My actions.My attitude.
The ghosts of last year still smile at me.The habits of the past still live within me.The dreams of the future will always be the same.Nothing is changing.

Brownie She was so happy. Her proposal had been accepted finally.  All that hard work, all those late nights had paid off.  She turned to look outside the window.  The skies did not echo her sentiments. They were the most morose shade of grey possible. It's been a long time since I wrote here, or wrote at all really. Decided to use a random word generator and then generate the rest of the words to make them into sentences.
